Modern manufacturing offers more than just jobs—it offers rewarding careers with room to grow. But many students, parents and even educators still hold outdated perceptions of what a manufacturing career looks like. Talent Factory is working to change that. We’re engaging with young people in classrooms, inviting them into local facilities to see the work firsthand, and helping them understand the wide range of opportunities available, many of which don’t require a four-year degree.
Talent Factory, an initiative of the Lawrence Mercer Manufacturers Coalition, is dedicated to building a strong manufacturing workforce in Lawrence and Mercer counties. By engaging with local educators, employers and job seekers, Talent Factory promotes sustainable career pathways and ensures manufacturing remains a thriving industry in the region.
